Attention all music aficionados, musicians, improvisers, musicians interested in performing experimental music, and those interested in witnessing free music being written and performed in the moment: Cadence Jazz Magazine, newly based in Portland, OR since 2012, in partnership with Classic Pianos and Holistic Voice Lab, now has a home for our monthly music series. New works by composers, headline acts, and an improvisers set make up this is a series that will simply blow your mind!
Festival of the Unknown goes beyond Jazz to reach into the rich stores of creative musical minds who have yet to be fully appreciated by the mainstream. World-class musicians will be invited to come co-create an evening of fun, mystery, excitement and collaboration.
